No and I never will. If you were ever in an accident and the air bag deployed it would kill them. Even if it does not deploy you still risk crushing them between your body and the steering wheel. If mine go with me they are secured in the back seat.

No. My 4 cats are always in carriers because I'm afraid they will escape.

All the time. And I've been in ONE accident in 30 years and it had nothing to do with a "pet". This crap is just the beginning of a new "campaign" of "danger" the police and legislators want to start so they can have a NEW "threat" that needs to be fixed. And ticketed and fined, of course. PLEASE stop this inane BS. And quit falling over yourselves to show how "concerned" you are, too, about this "danger". God help us against all you weasley, suck-ups. If you are THAT worried about evry damn thing the police tell you is a "danger" on the highways, sell your car and stay in the nursing home. It would probably eliminate 95% of the idiots driving 40MPH in the left lane from Dover to Accomack, too.

No, and here's what I do. For the safety of my pet, I usually place them in a harness made to be used with a seat belt and strap 'em in. If I get in an accident I don't want it on my conscious when they either get severely injured or run away and get hit by a car or lost. It's no campaign or BS, I think its just common sense.

12:45 Me too. Pets need to be restrained so they don't become flying missles or get hit with air bags. Don't even get me started about people who put their dogs in the back of a truck. About as ignorant as it comes.
