There are many ways to do this in public that are comfortable for Mother, baby, and others in the room. A secluded or at least off- path area is one, and has anyone ever heard of a SHAWL? Macrame, light knit, lacey, or even solid should be standard equipment. Why can't those who write up these laws include a line to mention politeness and respect for others?
