Felton, DE- The Delaware State Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit (S.O.A.R) is currently looking for a Felton sex offender after he failed to re-register his current address.
Investigators have obtained warrants on Richard L. Ricks, 41, who is a medium risk Tier 2 sex offender, after they learned that he failed to register his new address and had not notified S.O.A.R. of his status within 3 days as he is required to do by law.
Richard L. Ricks is described as a black male, 5’10” tall and 160 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.
The Delaware State Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit is asking anyone who may know the location of Richard L. Ricks, to call Agent Whitmore at 302-741-8087. Citizens may also provide a tip by texting keyword “DSP” plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters may also provide information through lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333.

AMEN..How about all the drug dealers / spousal abusers / drunk drivers running out on bail and still drinking. beating spouses/ dealing poison on our streets. But hey lets spend thousands to look for one person...Get real people, maybe he just got fed up with not having a regular life and be able to to get back on track and ran.

Yeah, that's exactly right.

Doesn't matter if/when they break a law.

It's all one big damn conspiracy.
They usually the most peaceful, law abiding, fun loving, productive and generous people on this planet.
It's the dang cops profiling them. It's the dang courts punishing them unfairly. It's the dang prosecutors who frame them and plant evidence on them.

Why don't they put the tracking bracelets on these sex offenders so they'll ALWAYS know where they are?
Gives us a lot of confidence in the police when they are regularly looking for someone who didn't register. How safe do you feel?
As far as those who don't approve of them having to register and report, you've obviously never been affected by a sex offender either personally or know someone who has or your thinking would be different!
