Shannon Lee Hilton, 30yo of Fruitland, MD was arrested and charged on an arrest warrant for Attempted 1st & 2nd degree Arson, 1st & 2nd degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment and MDOP $500.
On April 10, 2012 at approximately 10:37am, officers responded to 239 Leonard Lane (Keith Wright Auto) reference to an attempted arson. Upon their arrival, officers met with the victim who advised that Hilton had entered into the business at approximately 10:25am. Hilton wanted to discuss a previous issue with the victim. When the victim refused, Hilton kicked the passenger’s side door of a vehicle that did not belong to him but to a customer of the victim causing a dent in the door. Hilton continued to entice the victim into a physical altercation. When the victim refused, Hilton set a periodical on fire and threw it inside the business towards the victim.
The ignited periodical landed in very close proximity to gasoline and oils that were being used inside the garage. There were no injuries reported and there was no damage to the business. The victim was able to extinguish the fire before police arrival.
Hilton was released to the custody of central booking.

Either way this guy is a nut. His record speaks for itself. He was a punk kid who got sent to a juvenile center for stealing cars and got hit in the eye with a broom. So him ans his mother sued the carter center and got him a big settlement. Now he thinks be can just go around and assault people because he has enough money to get out of it. Someone please do what's right and put him away for some real time.
this man dosent stop. they need to lock him up and throw away the key. i am one of mr hiltons many who he beat me until i just knew i was gonna die. please make md. and the world a safer place and lock him up for good.
