Can you have two kings in one kingdom? Many have stated in the past that Joel Todd was the king of Nolle Prosqui in Worcester County and now Matt Maciarello has quickly become known as the king of nolle prosqui in Wicomico County.
While Tom McGuire sits in jail awaiting his next trial, today the arson charges were Nolle Prosqui, go figure.
In the mean time the Town of Delmar will be stuck footing the bill to tear down the burned/demolished vacant home.
Way to go Matt and Joel. Matt's office went up against his opponent in the race for States Attorney, Seth Mitchell.
I called the States Attorneys Office. No one was available to comment on this matter. I was told someone would get back to me. I'll hold my breath. You know, don't call us, we'll call you. Mr. Mitchell had no comment, respectfully.
There are cases in which a states attorney will nolle prosqui a case if an indictment has been returned. They do have the ability to re-charge Mr. McGuire at a later point.

Not surprised. I read on the court briefs that Dr. Stewart Perim's son got his drug case thrown out recently. This kid got busted with drugs ON school property at Fruitland Intermediate School and parked in a handicapped spot. The kid was old enough to be prosecuted and either daddy paid to get him off or the state's attorney let it slide. What a joke! Guess you get what you pay for.
Within minutes after this Post went up I did receive a call from the States Attorneys Office. However, they had nothing to offer. I have been informed they will look into it and get back with me.
Don't forget that Matt's office will be up for re election and at the rate he is going he will NEVER be reelected. I hea bad all the time abot him. Boy,I never thought he would turn out to be like he has. VERY disappointed to say the least. Matt just remember the public is watching you and they are not happy with what they see. We thought you were gonna make a difference.........instead you have made us lose respect for you.

You mean that if I get a speeding ticket or found not wearing my seat blet, the State's Attorney will not yield on bit and will ask for a re-schedule, if necessary, and will not budge on the fine or points. But BURN A HOUSE down or get busted for drugs on school property and hey, things happen. We'll forget it this time, you know, 'cause we're cool. What if he had burned the house down and left the scene without wearing his seat belt? Would they have been tougher on him? Does it help in this county if you are WHITE? I can't imagine 'ol Matt letting a black man from Isabella St get a free ride for burning a house down. Its GOOD to be rich, white, and in power, or a combination of them.

Don't worry. Perim will get his one day. He is such a crook! I used to be a patient of his at Peninsula Orthopedic until I found out that he is being investigate by the Attorney General for medicaid fraud. He tried charging me for procedures that I never had done. I turned him the dental board on more than one occassion.

5:08...you should know what you are talking about before you post.. What you are speaking of was done by a former secretary/office manager who has since been let go. She was taking patients cash and charging insurance companies for the copay and other services. Perim knew nothing of it while it was going on and once he found out he confronted her and she threatened to call the police on him and say it was him doing it. She also threatened bodily harm.
It was just forwarded on to circuit court is all.

The Dental Board is well aware of his tactics and practices and I seriously doubt that he will be able to get out their investigation. If the attorney general is involved, it is much more than a former employee taking the fall.
I would trust that crook with my teeth ever again and I warn others to stay clear as well. He has no conscious and will rob you of all you have.
Wicomico stateS Attorneys prosacutor felmale spent more time in court flirting with the defence lawyers she was more a call girl then an advocate for the victoms in the case. I guess blonds have more fun reaches into the courts more than you think. She would have served the victoms better if she did not show up at all. Money talks in salisbury. Thanks blondie.
