What should the Supreme Court do with the health care law President Obama signed two years ago?

Burn it. It's going to destroy our good health care and break the economy, if we have any economy left at all.

Nothing, it's perfectly legal from a constitutional standpoint. To declare it otherwise would put in jepordy the constitutionality of both Medicare and Social Security.

REPEAL IT!

If it is perfectly legal, why is the court even hearing the case. The solution to many of our problems is for the MSM focus on Obama's eligibility to be President in the first place. The MSM pushed it under the rug to long.

I don't think it is perfectly legal. Twelve hundred pages is a travesty and at my age The Committee would probably deny me treatment, cancel it.

What should they do? determine it null and void
What will they do? probably nothing. Herr Obama is their leader.

emmings, you all are lemmings doomed to walk over the cliff of misinformation everyday. The legal challenge is a farce, the ignorance of the posters on this blog is astounding. Turn off the hate radio and Fox News propoganda machine.

obama signed it , thus it is illegal.

Repeal it. It's unconstitutional no matter what the left wants us to believe. When government MAKES us start doing things then we as a society are in really deep trouble.

11:51,
Are we emmings or lemmings? Your ignorance is appalling. EVERY administration tries to circumvent the constitution, like Adam's attempt to silence critics with his Alien & Sedition act, the Bush Patriot act and Obama's attempt to force all to purchase insurance.

It's nothing new. an aging Jefferson saw the constitution being destroyed by the ideologies of whatever party came to power when he asked, "What is our resource for the preservation of the Constitution, reason and argument? You might as well reason and argue with marble columns surrounding them." To call those vigilant in attempting to protect and defend the constitution "emmings or lemmings" evinces you to be either un-American or stupid. I would bet on stupid!

The healthcare law is unconstitutional and should be struck down.
The constitution is a set of limits on the government. Obamacare clearly exceeds those limits by mandating that to be a citizen in good standing you must purchase a product spelled out by the government.
Anyone who doesn't understand that basic principle doesn't understand what the constitution is all about.
Inalienable rights means right granted to us by our creator and not granted by the government. The government cannot grant you any rights that they have not first taken away.
How would some of the posters here feel if a Republican majority took of the whitehouse and congress and mandated that all citizens must purchase Rush 24/7 or face fines and penalties?

The court should declare it illegal.in the words of our leader when he was campaining against Hillary Clinton"The government does not have the legal right to force it's citizens to buy a product against their wishes.many people in Massachusetts are in worse shape now than before their health care plan."Now he speaks from the other side of his mouth. the idea of affordable health care is a good one,but what has been drafted here has 1200 pages too many. Some of the riders on this bill are ridiculous.

11:51 It's obvious to the most casual observer that the buttons on your shirt don't line up with the holes on the other side, or the cheese fell off your cracker.

Anon 8:51 do you have any points to your so called argument or are you just doing the typical bomb throwing and run away, if you have a valid argument I would love to hear them instead of just name calling

11:09 no one is forced to collect either Medicare or SS benefits.

Anonymous said...

11:51 Do you have any idea of how many cases the Supreme Court refuses to hear? And why they refuse to hear them?
I'll answer for you.
Obviously you do not and I'm sure you think the Supreme Court hears every case brought to it.
Read how the judiciary works and the different levels. A higher court does not hear cases without merit to them and some valid legal argument.

REPEAL IT
IT should never have been signed in the first place.

Repeal it. Sadly, we needed health care reform, but it should have been gradual so that impact of each change could be assessed before moving to the next step. Rather, they passed a huge bill that was poorly planned. As Pelosi said, "we have to pass it to know what's in it." How stupid was that?
