WBAL-TV 11 News reporter David Collins said the Senate is tearing the governor's budget apart. Senators said public outcry over the gas tax plan convinced them to consider other options.

Some senators said Wednesday it's likely that the gas tax bill is off the table this session. Senate President Mike Miller told reporters Wednesday morning that the bill itself may not happen.

Well there you have it... Even the rich have a limit on what they will pay on gas...

But don't forget, they will pass income tax on through and don't think for one second that gas tax will go away... they will just add that in later so they will get both taxes put in place...
