Months later, and they are back in business. Years later, and Katrina areas are still devastated.
Unbelievable how fast they have rebuilt.
Like tmills said, in this country, it seems we never recover from catastrophies but we're supposed to be the wealthiest nation. Could it be that's because all of our resources are still being spent on useless wars?

I think it has to do with the people. Some will get out there and get things done, others will sit back and wait for the government to take care of them.
