There's been a shooting in Delmar. From what I've gathered it's multiple gun shot wounds. The victim is at PRMC and they're not sure if he's going to make it. The suspect, (from Salisbury) is allegedly in custody.
The shooting took place at the government subsidized housing at Chestnut Manor.
UPDATE: Now we're being told it was a fatal shooting/murder.
UPDATE #2: We're told the shooter may still be at large. No discription of the shooter so far.
UPDATE #3: Victim was shot at least 4 to 5 times, once in the back of the head. They are looking for a young black male from Salisbury.

The shooter is still at large. The Delmar Police have given the name of the victim over the radio, I can't believe they would do that right now. The hospital went to lock down a few minutes ago.
How many shot?
What was the description of the vehicles? I saw 2 small cars heading South and make an illegal U-turn at Rt. 13 and Naylor Street just after 5pm. It wasn't to long after the Delmar ambulance went flying by.
Is Chestnut Manor the same complex with all the drug activity and open-air drug markets?
Joe MSP just gave a report on their radio to be on the look out for 2 black males. One with dread locks.

It's Delmar pd. Welcome to Mayberry and the land of the clueless. Why do you think everytime something more then a 15 minute investigation is needed they cry to WBI or either if the State Pllice agencies to handle it.
Funny Delmar Police were the ones who caught the gang members who broke in and robbed a home off of Stage Road a couple of years ago...They tracked those 4 down and arrested them all within a short amount of time. Sure all police dept.'s call for assistance, especially in a murder...I hope they catch these criminals soon....DPD has always been good when I needed them for anything suspicious where i live.

Funny, about two weeks ago I was in gander Mtn and there was a guy in there with dreadlocks filling out paperwork for a S&W .40 cal.
Another shooting in the projects. Imagine that. The liberals are hard at work making our country a better place.

DPD did an awesome job, they new all the people involved and named the suspects. Good job DPD and WCSO. They had it all.

1:00 AM I cant believe DPD knows antbody in Delmar, You cant learn who the public is by speeding through town. Seems the new town officials need to get grip on its employees, DPD is this joke of the town.
And I thought the eastern shore was a slow, quiet place to live.I think its trying to compete with Detroit!
