Georgetown Student: Rush Is Right

(Georgetown,DC) - Am I the only one at Georgetown who is not upset with Rush right now?

His comments regarding Sandra Fluke, third year Law student at Georgetown University, are less outrageous when viewed in the real context of the debate on Obama’s mandate for religious institutions to include contraceptive coverage in their healthcare plans.

Fluke, in her own testimony before a Democratic panel, pointed out that the University covered birth control pills when used for the treatment of a medical condition. This is the key to understanding Limbaugh’s comments. When used for medicinal purposes and healthcare, Georgetown has no problem covering the expense of birth control under their insurance plan.

Fluke’s complaint was based on the fact that it was not covered for the use as a contraceptive, which would violate the Catholic church’s beliefs.

I'm glad you put this up. Although Rush' words were a poor choice, I agreed with him.

She has been proven to be a White house operative...advantage Limbaugh.

Limbaugh does get carried away sometimes, but how else can you get people's attention. GO, Rush Limbaugh.

rush was again right. The left be damned. Besides the fact she outright lied about her background and age.

If this person actually worked for a living rather than attending school for a living over more than a decade now, maybe she could afford her own birth control and certainly a cheaper on. She can buy an awful lot of condoms in Walmart for what she claims she spends in birth control.

"Condoms in Walmart" your are indeed a loyal Rush listener, at least come up with your own thoughts, instead of repeating what we all have heard on the radio.

Really 8:30...really...that is the best you can do...Let 8:22 have his opinion...and if you don't like people repeating phrases they have heard media ..maybe we could ask them to stop referring to the obama 2008 campaign as the yes we can movement and start calling it the NO THEY DIDN'T movement

Ok, buy the condoms in CVS. They may be a little more expensive but not anywhere near $1000. Maybe you have a source for designer condoms that cost $$$. Where is that? Could make for a great gift idea.

Ok, let's call a spade a spade. Sandra Fluke is not what she is being sold as. Instead she is a liberal activist pushing some rather radical ideas. Keep that in mind as the left holds her up in the spotlight. Read about this and her efforts to have US pay for sex changes too at:

What warped reason does out President have to rallying behind someone like this?

One, I am a woman. Two, I do not listen to Rush. I watched a clip when I wondered what all the broha was about. I maybe didn't like the "exact" words he used. I wasn't offended by the "slut" part so much. I was a little offended by the "film it" commment. But all that aside, I agree with Rush's theory. Why in the hell does the America public think that everything should be "given" to them. If you are old enough and responsible enough to have sex, then you are old enough and responsible enough to "pay" for your birth control. I am fifty-some years old and no longer need it but I never asked anyone to pay for mine when I did use it. When are these people going to realize that we are "giving" ourselves right into the same hole that Greece is in now. The government "give outs" have to be paid for by someone. That someone is you and I the taxpayer. If Fluke could not afford to go to school and have sex then she should give up one. Either go to school and don't have sex or get a job and have all the sex she wants. I agree with Rush. Damn if I want to pay for her to have sex.
