Moments ago, Carbonite – a company providing backup software for computers – announced that it will no longer advertise on Rush Limbaugh’s show. CEO David Friend made clear in a Facebook statement that, despite Limbaugh’s “apology” issued tonight, the company was still pulling its ads because it wants to “contribute to a more civilized public discourse”:
No one with daughters the age of Sandra Fluke, and I have two, could possibly abide the insult and abuse heaped upon this courageous and well-intentioned young lady. Mr. Limbaugh, with his highly personal attacks on Miss Fluke, overstepped any reasonable bounds of decency. Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw our advertising from his show. We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have already withdrawn their ads, will ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse.

All hype Rush isn't going anywhere in fact his ratings have increased.
He's a shock jock. What do you expect? I thought it was ridiculous when they fired Imus. They hired them to create controversy. Then when they do, they want to fire them or advertise with them. Ridiculous.
Courageous and well -intentioned? Exactly what young lady are we talking about? I's it the same one who wants the taxpayer to spend 3000 dollars a year so she can bone her way through school, and I guess she would want us to pay for the baby or abortion or the std? This stellar student should be using her head and realize that she is being used by the democrats and spend a little less time on her back
what is this? The libbers can say anthing they want about anybody, but a conservative is not supposed to speak his opinion??? Really??
