Never Call The Police: Single Mother In Milwaukee Raped By Cop – Then Arrested For “Assaulting An Officer”

Crime victims who call 911 often discover that while the police can’t offer help, they can always make the situation significantly worse – as a single mother from Milwaukee learned when she was raped by one of the cops who responded to her call, then arrested for “assaulting an officer.”
Police Officer Ladmarald Cates was one of two Milwaukee cops who responded to a 911 call from the anxious single mother after someone had pitched a brick through her bathroom window.  He arranged to be alone with the woman, then raped her.

amazing- anytime a dirtbag is arrested a news story uses "allegedly" Any time some nut makes up a story about a cop its printed as fact.

Horrible, horrible story. The cop deserves to be executed.

Two cops show up and one is not around in the time it take to rape a woman (allegedly). Sounds a bit fishy (no pun intended).

Ladmarald Cates

Do a search!

And then STFU!

How about a politician who smiles and waves for the camera, but is a repetitive sex offender?

It's unfortunate, even a few POS get through the "blue line", as a Police Officer, it saddens me to see reports of this, unfortunately, presumed til innocent, but something like this raises eyebrows and can eliminate 10,000 acts of valor and trust, it's sad, we'll see how it works out

If you research this, you will find that this is not a single instance.

The police chief and D.A. knew about this guy, AND, the things he has done before.

He is facing life in prison. I think he should get it. For this and all the other CRIMES he has gotten away with.

Just think about the ones we DON'T KNOW about.

Or the ones who get away with it because he is a cop and most people used to think cops would never do things like this.

Finally, people are waking up. Finally, cops are being charged. Finally, victims are getting some justice.

They should make an example out of this guy. It's been covered up long enough. People in that area are calling for the D.A. and police chief's resignation as well over this.

One of the things that ticked me off about this is that one person above who dismissed this because it was a cop.

Victims are automatically pushed to the side. Accused, ridiculed, investigated. They are made to be a victim again by reporting the crime in the first place.

This has got to stop. And slowly, I think it is beginning to.

1%? There are over 800,000 cops in this country alone. That would be 8,000 'bad' cops.

That number is too high. They can do, and have done, a lot of damage.

Stop defending them and start getting rid of them.

More like 1/10th of 1 percent maybe 800 tops, much lower than any other profession. Again BS allegations that haven't been proven. Over %90 of all police complaints are proven to be made by nuts just wanting attention.

OMG. The sad part is you probably believe that garbage.

I guess he got fired for no reason too huh?

You and others like you can keep blowing smoke but people know it's not sunshine.

If you're a cop, and I hope you're not, you need to turn in your badge and more importantly, your gun.

You are part of the problems.

More factual statistics I am sure. lol.

Deny until the cell door slams shut. People who defend these slimeballs are slimeballs themselves.

I used to say we needed more cops not less. But if this is what they come up with, I think we will be better off without them.

Putting a criminal in a uniform makes things worse. When they get found out every case, every arrest becomes suspect. They have to review each one and toss most of the ones he tainted.

Then you have the lawsuits, the settlements, drop in morale, drop in public trust.

One rouge cop does more damage than 10 criminals.

How ya like them statistics?

Sounds like the department didn't have a very good psych test in place when this guy was hired.

Proven?! You mean, after being investigated by the POLICE, who are famous for never saying a thing about the wrongdoing of other officers? Having the police investigate the police and then finding that they've done nothing wrong? I'm extremely confident that there is absolutely NO bias in THAT investigation....thank God for video.

I think that's why you see so many cops chasing video takers away with pepper spray. They don't want anyone to have any PROOF of the cops criminal acts.

Them boys know how to construct a story, stick to it and file a report to make it look like it's true.

Video stops all that. They can't use that tired old song and dance that someone made it up to get attention or get off a charge, or anything else they try to use to squirm out of a jam.

Some guy even tried to say there were only less than 800 bad cops in this country. Evidence shows otherwise. Evidence they cannot manipulate.
