A Board Of Ed Partial Comment Worthy Of A Post

I do have a question. Are there cafeteria workers that were terminated for stealing "throw away food"? Are there others on leave for sloppy paperwork? It would be nice to know just how many people are on administrative leave.

Too much other dirt more important than this post. Leftover food must be throw away. With the homeless population growing and shelters trying to feed those less fortunate, it would make sense to help a food kitchen. Leftover food? Stop throwing it away. Help someone less fortunate NOW.

I do work in the cafeteria and WE ARE NOT ALLOWED , due to insurance reasons, food allergies and etc. Please know all the facts before you start blasting people on what they should and shouldn't do!!!!!
Also, there are a majority of days that we do not have leftovers!!!!!
We are also allowed to serve any leftovers the next day and believe me when I say - We do not have any left!

Are they flippin serious???? What are they thinking? This throw away food could feed a family or families of students of WCBOE. The children of the workers probably all attend the schools and need the nutrition, be it leftovers or not! LET THEM TAKE THE FOOD HOME TO THEIR FAMILIES!!!! In order for their children to be able to concentrate on schoolwork they MUST have food!
No surprise here that the BOE would pull crap like that! Completely unbelievable. Feed the children PLEASE!
