California Woman Beats Honda In Court Over MPG

(CBS News) A California woman's small claims court victory against Honda could have a huge impact on the global auto giant. On Wednesday, Honda was ordered to pay Heather Peters for misleading her about the gas mileage her Civic Hybrid would achieve, and other car owners could follow in the steps of the former lawyer who took on a corporate giant, and won.

So let me get this straight.
The federal EPA requires all auto makers to submit their cars to the EPA for fuel economy tests. The EPA then requires all auto makers to put the results of the EPA test on the window sticker as city, highway and combined mileage numbers.
This nutcase then sues Honda and the judge rules in her favor.
How is Honda responsible?
