Four NYPD cops have been stripped of their guns and badges and pulled from the streets after a civilian video popped up on the internet showing them getting rough with a drug suspect, according to the New York Times.
The Bronx District Attorney’s office and the Internal Affairs bureau of the NYPD told the Times the incident was under investigation.
The beating of the suspect, Jateik Reed, 19, occurred last Thursday afternoon after police claim Reed threw a baggy of crack on the ground and resisted arrest. Mr. Reed was charged with assaulting a police officer, drug possession, menacing and harassment.

I guess that knucklehead on here will say it's fine because the guy is a criminal and he wouldn't comply.
Even when there's 4 fat cops beating him with batons. Well 3 when one of the hugho's goes after the guy videoing this with pepper spray.
And then there's the other large cop on the radio the whole time. Calling for backup no doubt. lol.
For a piece of crack? Guess they would have killed him if it was something serious.
But really, he's a drug dealer. He wouldn't comply by putting his hands behind his back, (trying to block baton blows) and he wouldn't stop resisting arrest (lying on the sidewalk).
Judging by the fat freaks, he should have just ran. Those tubs look like they couldn't go a block. lol.
Ah, life in the big city. We don't know how good we got it here. Wait, what?
just shoot them , no problem after that , put the ols pistol in their hand and move on.

naw, then traffic would be blocked for the cops funeral
You can stop this unfair treatment of police officers by criminalizing the recording of arrests.

LOL! Those poor officers really took a whoopin.... yes, so unfair to treat them with such disrespect.
(they should all be hanged to relieve them from their misery.)Contrary.
Each officer should be made to wear an audio/visual recording device to document their activity. Illegal or lawful. Lets keep the code of blue silence honest for a change.
11:47 here...
I was being sarcastic. Sorry. I'll try to remember to write "/sarcasm" next time. :)
Not a bad idea about wearing a recording device, btw.
