Homeland Security Scores Big Time

The Homeland Security Department scores a field goal days before the Super Bowl. Working with officials of the NFL, federal officers shut down hundreds of websites and seized nearly $5 million worth of counterfeit Super Bowl merchandise. Immigration and Customs Enforcement teamed up with Customs and Border Protection and Postal inspectors to carry out raids across the country. Operation Fake Sweep started in October and concluded yesterday. It also scooped up phony hockey, basketball and baseball merchandise.

How could they determine what was real and what was fake considering it all comes from China anyway? I think they all needed to gear up their families for SUPER BOWL WEEKEND!!

Maybe they should change their name to Copyright Security and perhaps the RIAA could foot the bill.

Well whoop-de-doo. Let's hear it for homeland security.

Not exactly what the name implies is it. I guess they have to justify thier existence in some and any, kind of way.

Maybe if illegal aliens were carry this stuff we could get some protection at our borders.

DHS? ICE? counterfeit clothing?

I would bet Donald Trump's entire fortune that there where thousands of Illegal alien's within a 1 mile radius of the raids and not a single one was apprehended or deported!
Way to go ICE! DHS!
Shouldn't the Dept. of Commerce handle knock off counterfeit goods?
