Wicomico Deputy Charges Delaware Man With Weapons Violations

A Wicomico County Sheriff’s deputy was investigating a disturbance in Delmar early Friday morning when they spotted 23 year old James Taylor of Laurel, DE sitting in a vehicle nearby.   While talking with Taylor the deputy became suspicious as Taylor acted like he was trying to hide something beside the seat.  Taylor also ignored requests for identification and for him to get out of the vehicle.  The deputy helped Taylor out of the vehicle and a search turned up 3 large knives – hidden but within Taylor’s reach.  Taylor was charged and is free on bond.

Another violation of our civil rights. I guess we just can't sit in a parking lot anymore? What probable cause did the Deputy have to accost this man? And apparently you can't have a knife in your car???? I'd sue for violation of my civil rights
