Never have trusted them

I quit the DT a couple of months ago...a real waste of paper and money.

I used to buy their Sunday paper exclusively for the coupons a while ago but made the right decision by buying Baltimore Sun's Sunday paper.

LOL! NO!
(and JT is going to be too busy deleting my comments)

After what I've seen happen to this city over the last 40 years, heck no I can trust them to be accuate. Good grief they can't even proof read properly.

They gave more space for that damn petition than they did covering the destruction of property at the homes of two city council members.

I never trust any paper , my mama told me , don't trust anything you read and half of what you hear.

Absolutely NOT. They have lied for so many years, it's really hard to believe that people still read that trash - worse than the National Enquirer.

Did you forget about me Joe? Glad you have a new fascination and can use Earl as your goal to become the next Drudge Report. It's too bad what you have done to this cops reputation. Add another person to the list of who hates you and wishes you dead.

Let me be the first (using the 13 posted comments as my basis) to say Yes I do trust what I read in the Daily Times.

A blog is the opinion of the owner and the comments are the opinions of the readers. A reader or owner can write anything they so choose, be it rumors, gossip, vile remarks about other and a lot of she said/he said, I heard. The Daily Times is not allowed that option as MSM, so for that reason I trust the Times.

The Daily Times has Grapevine. Lord knows the Grapevine remarks are ones most could find on a blog. They are not news but opinions of DT readers. I trust the comments in Grapevine just about as much as the comments on a blog.

anonymous 5:21, ARE YOU KIDDING ME????

Did you read today's and yesterday's paper. It was loaded with lies and twisted information.

Look, you have every right to enjoy the paper. After all, you spent $1.06 a day for it, not including what the Sunday paper cost you.

We do not spew lies.

+++++++

No, the Daily Times is not allowed THAT option as MSM, but they use something close to it that they should not.

It is more subtle, and therefore more dangerous. It gives the impression that it's honest. But it's not.

That makes them WORSE than any blog. Because they use the credibility (misplaced) of the MSM to hide behind when they aren't credible.

At least if I post here, you know it's my opinion. It's not passed off as front page "news". In my opinion, they are first cousins to cons and posers.
