This is horrible. How many lives and families have been destroyed by this doctor? Nothing but a low life drug dealer with a medical license. Pathetic and tragic.
How many lives and families have been destroyed by this doctor?
Probably the same amount that lied and cheated to get the drugs.
My thoughts exactly, if the drug addicts weren't out there abusing the system and doctor hopping to get their next fix....lives of their doctors, friends and families would not be ruined like they are. The blame should not be placed all on Dr Fox...these addicts are master manipulators.
Dr. Fox is a compassionate care-giver. As a patient in constant pain from MS and other painful disorders, Dr. Fox worked with me for over a year to help get my pain under control. Treatment included epidural, TENS, PT, and medication. I feel that I was properly screened and my case was reviewed at each appointment.
What they are doing to this doctor is criminal, all so that the Maryland DHMH can make a name for themselves.
Yes some of his patients may have been drug seekers. But certainly not most. And with a patient load of over 2000, where will we go for treatment? I have not been able to get my records from his office, and the Pain Mgmnt office I called is taking appointments for July. The DHMH should have had a process in place for his patients' care instead of just leaving them at the curb.
Horrible, Horrible treatment for patients already living with painful conditions.
Doctors shouldn't be punished for treating patients with pain medication that are in pain management! I have heard nothing but great things about this man. He does procedural pain management as well as prescribe medications. The fault is that there are drug addicts out there that make it very difficult to distinguish between real pain and fake pain. Also, once all other options have been unsuccessful and the only option is to treat the symptoms, the prescribed dosage and quantity has no where to go but up over years of taking medications, the effectiveness changes. Some of his patients have been his patients for years so its assumed that they would need higher dosages to manage their pain. People that no nothing about what its like to live every day in pain cannot begin to understand what it can do to your quality of life. Its horrible. Now because of the patients that abused this compassionate doctor, people are left with no where to go. No one will see his patients because the fear of god has been placed in them when it comes to prescribing any pain medication. Most people with real pain would be happy not taking medication on a daily basis if these other doctors were able to offer a successful solution to pain management. But to just simply refuse all of these people is just horrific and very very unfortunate!!
dr.fox is/was the only way i can work almost pain free. i was in a accident no fualt of my own. now i feel like a crimnal wheil trying to find another doctor to get the meds to do my job and enjoy life
The thing I dont understand is how a doctor can only see a max of thirty patient at a time (federally mandated by law) to treat them for physical dependency or addiction with suboxone, but a doctor who hands out narcotics like their candy can see over 2000 patients a time. Its irresponsible!! I am outraged by this. your telling me he is a compassionate man but he is a drug dealer with a medical license. Its discusting to think of how many lives that he helped to ruin i hope that our local government decides to take action to stop doctor like him to never practice medicine again!
Yea thatz the problem! People like u think everybody on painkillers is a addict.good luck cuz god works in mysteriious ways and u might not be so lucky wen u get nocked off ur high horse.
Drv Fox has helped me and because I now have a new life I have been able to return to work after 5 years of pain and am nowa member again of the working class something a few years ago I thought I would never be able to do again, So unless you have knowledge of what it is to have pain so bad you cant even move and your life is nothing then keep your comments to your self Dr. Fox is a fine Doctor and a good man. So you haters go to he.....
I for one am a previous patient of Dr. Fox and can say without reservation, he is a kind, thorough, compassionate and diligent physician. Since this case came to fruition, I am now left in constant pain with spinal stenosis and herniated discs. The medications Dr. Fox prescribed for me were always in legal amounts and I took them as they were prescribed. For those of you calling him a "drug addict with and MD license" - think again! All it takes is one disgruntled patient (who most likely was dismissed from his practice due to the patient's wrongdoing, and now a man's reputation and career are over!
I'm a disabled vet and I'm 71 years old. The government is shutting down pain doctors, instead of heroin dealers because it's easy to do it to a person trying to help people with chronic pain. Thanks Trump, and if any of y'all have never had cronic pain shut your damn mouth
