Poll: Cain Tops 3-Way Race With Romney, Gingrich

In the Republican race for the presidential nomination, Newt Gingrich's support continues to slowly grow, and he is now tied with Mitt Romney for second place, while Herman Cain just edges both of them out for the top spot. Both Cain and Romney have lost support since late October.

In a new CBS News Poll, 61 percent of Republican primary voters say the sexual harassment accusations against Cain won't make any difference in their vote, but 30 percent say the charges make them less likely to back him, and that rises to 38 percent among women. Cain has lost support among women since last month - from 28 percent in October to 15 percent now. He has lost ground with conservatives and Tea Party supporters as well.

Obama wins, only Huntsman can beat him.

I don't think so. Wingnuts would never vote for Huntsman. He makes too much sense for a republican

Nobody is coming out to "barack the vote". He won because of the young and (I) vote. Both of which will not be in Obama's back pocket in 2012.

3 nuts all in a row. The nutcracker is in the white house and I would not be surprised if he wins another term, especially considering the ones running against him.

Whats funny is that Rep. have a prime opportunity to win if they would run somebody who has actually done their homework on the issues, not scribbled a few thoughts down on paper 5 min. before the debate.

If I have said it once, I have said it a million times: If the GOP hates Obama so mucch, they why won't you nominate someone that can WIN? You need to nominate someone who Democrats will vote for. None of the clowns out in front now fit the bill.

Don't dare mention Ron Paul....

Who do you think could beat Obama? I often read none of the Repbulicans running, but I never see a name that could win in 2012.

Look at Gingrich's success while in Congress. Balanced the budget and lowered the unemployment rate to it's lowest number from 1980-2011. He also can outdebate anyone on substance.

ha ha at 10:46,Gingrich did this or did the dotcom boom?

Bingo 10:46. Not my ideal candidate, but he is the best option. Not to mention that it would be fun to see him wipe the floor with Odumbo in a debate.

I'm not so sure about that. Obammy is more of a college professor than a president. He may say and do some not so smart things but he is quite intelligent.

Don't underestimate the opponent. He will smoke you if you do.
