Driving In Fog - Safety Tips
Fog is a thin layer of cloud resting on the ground. It can reduce visibility to 1/4 mile or less, creating hazardous driving conditions. The best advice for driving in the fog is DON ’T. Slow down. Use low beam headlights. No such thing as fog lights. They only put light on the road closer to your vehicle. They do not have magical power to shine through fog.
It is not skill to drive too fast for conditions. It is reckless. Saying your sorry after you kill someone is never enough. You WILL go to jail.
Slow down and use your lights and wipers.
