Tot Dressed As Prostitute: 'Toddlers And Tiaras' Blasted For Airing Image Of 3-Y-O Pageant Contestant In Racy Costume

The hit TLC show "Toddlers & Tiaras" is known for its over-the-top costumes and revealing, baby-sized bikinis. But no outfit has generated as much controversy as the one Wendy Dickey put on her three-year-old daughter, Paisley.

Dickey dressedPaisley in a costume that mimicked the outfit that actress Julia Roberts' prostitute character wore in the movie "Pretty Woman" – the fitted, skin-baring white blouse, the tight blue mini-skirt and thigh-high, shiny black boots.

Paisley wore it all – down to the blond wig – and strutted across the stage.

Instead of blasting the show - How about blasting the Parents putting those kids in that position!!!!! It is a disgrace. I feel sorry for the kids, not the parents!!!!! Then telling their child they will win and if they don't the child has a meltdown - Who's fault is that?! Again, Parents!!!! Simple solution, Let your child be a child and Love them everyday and be a parent, instead of being a showboat!!!

I sincerely believe that the parents involved in these types of shows are mentally ill, need to be evaluated for mental illness and their suitability to retain custody of these poor children needs to be assessed. This is child abuse, plain and simple! The kids are sexualized far earlier in their lives than other children with the possible exception of children who are sexually abused. I believe they are being "set up" to be sexually abused, too.

I have watched this show a few times. It seems that the competition is really between the parents, not the children.

1. The fools are the parents who fork over the money it takes to play this game. From what I have seen it is quite expensive and the parents will stop at nothing to win. It is the parent that really wants to win, not the child.
2. The losers are the children.
3. The winners are those who profit from the cash that it takes to participate in these pageants.

There is no question that it is a money making business.

Wow. How sensitive we've all become! Really?
This is just another thing that's been going on for YEARS but we didn't know about it because there wasn't a show on tv focused on it.
We have bigger problems in this country with our kids than what happens on a pageant tv show!
We need to be focused on discipline and oversight of our young people before they totally take this country down the drain.
These are our future leaders but we should all be very scared when thinking about what our future holds. Many of todays youth has no manners, no commom sense and can't add, subtract or even spell correctly.
This is much more of a disgrace than something like this happening on tv. Especially when it's all just done for hype and you all fell for it line and sinker!
