Murdoch To Pay Hacking Victim's Family




(LONDON) — Rupert Murdoch's company said Monday that it is in advanced compensation talks with the family of a murdered teenager whose phone was hacked by the now-defunct News of the World tabloid.

News International, Murdoch's British newspaper division, said it hopes to reach agreement soon with the family of Milly Dowler.

Not for one minute, do I think that the Murdoch empire is doing this because it is the "right" thing to do.... it is a buy off, and they believe it will cost them more money in the long run if thy don't do this.
