BALTIMORE (AP) — Maryland officials say the state’s drop in violent crime is mirroring a nationwide 6 percent drop in 2010 noted by the FBI.
The FBI marked the fourth year of declines in its annual crime statistics report on Monday. Maryland’s 4.9 percent decline in property crime surpassed the nation’s 2.7 percent drop. State officials credit a growth in technology and information sharing for the overall decline.
The data show Maryland’s homicides dropped 3.2 percent and robberies and motor vehicle deaths fell about 8 percent in 2010.

When we lowered the hiring standards for law enforcement , we also lowered the crime rate.
Crooked cops won't make an arrest , they will divide the drug money or divide the money that they are paid off with.
They won't report most crime as homicides or other major crimes.
Bad cops get paid by the bad guys to keep quiet.
Of course O'Malley and O'bama and O'brown will tell you different.
It's that way all over the U.S.. including federal , remember the TSA a day or 2 ago , wake up .
yeah look where those numbers are coming from. MD takes so much money from you the crooks are leaving to states where the population has something left to steal!
