Public Input Sought In Easton Postal Decision

EASTON, Md. (AP) — Maryland’s senators are asking for transparency and public input over the fate of the Easton Area Mail Processing Center.

Sens. Barbara Mikulski and Ben Cardin have sent a letter to Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe because the Postal Service is again considering consolidating the Easton facility with a facility in Baltimore.

closing easton processing probably won't impact service in salisbury... first class mail mailed at the salisbury office typically takes two days to be put in my salisbury po box. i have received some mailed from salisbury with an atlanta postmark and some with new jersey postmark..shouldn't it have an easton postmark??

I think this is more about moving jobs to Baltimore where there are more Democrat voters.
