Congress Has Until Friday To Pass Spending Bill For 2012

Congress has until Friday to pass a spending bill for fiscal year 2012 — or face another possible government shutdown. Lawmakers still plan to go on recess next week, which means they have just three more days to pass a continuing resolution. Debate on a CR, which would the government through mid-November, is scheduled on the House floor today.

In the 68 years I've been on this earth , I've never seen such a screwed up president and congress.
Where the hell did we find this and those idiots.
This is not Nigeria , Uganda or the Congo.

Collectively, 'we' elected them....either by voting for them - or not voting against them (not voting).

We get a chance to remedy that in the not too distant future....hopefully, we'll get some better choices than we had last time around!

About 1/3 of us elect the politicians. Another 1/3 of us simply do not care or understand what is at stake.

The other 1/3 of us know what is happening and choose to refrain from participation. Some of us in that 1/3 realize that our Heavenly Father will soon judge each and every one of us for what we have done, and what has been done in our names' sake. Therefore we fear Him more than we fear the lord of this earth.
