101-Year-Old Detroit Woman Evicted In Foreclosure

Her son failed to pay the mortgage and disregarded eviction notices

A 101-year-old woman was evicted from the southwest Detroit home where she lived for nearly six decades after her 65-year-old son failed to pay the mortgage.

Texana Hollis was evicted Monday and her belongings were placed outside the home. Her son, Warren Hollis, said he didn't pay the bill for several years and disregarded eviction notices.

Why is this news? Some scumbag doesn't pay his loan, and he gets foreclosed on. Happens by the hundreds every day. Sometimes there are 1 year old kids in the house, sometimes there are 101 year olds there. Make your payments, you get to live there; don't make the payments, then you give up your rights to the house -- you and anyone else who lives there.

If she has lived in the home for 6 decades, why isn't this house paid for already??!!

Probably kept refinancing to get cash equity and lower interest rates.

Where are her children?
Why aren't they helping?

The libtard mentality is let the government pay for it.
