ANNAPOLIS - Today, MD GOP launched www.fairlinesmd.org, a website focused on the redistricting process in Maryland. Chairman Alex X. Mooney offered the following statement:
“Fairlinesmd.org is a website that Marylanders can visit to compare the MD GOP good government congressional map to the current congressional map. It also allows Marylanders to express their opinion with regard to the congressional map and the redistricting process. MD GOP believes an open dialogue about what is fair for Marylanders is the first step towards good government and therefore would like to be an active partner in the information gathering process. We will therefore turn over all comments on fairlinesmd.org to the commission for their review and consideration.
“It is our hope that the commission with take the publics’ opinion into consideration when drafting their map and will put Marylanders first above incumbent politicians.”
