That snake wouldn't hurt you even if you tried to bite it. It is COMPLETELY harmless. Why are people so freaked out by snakes? I believe this is a grass snake. I catch them all the time and take them down the road and let them go. My wife is one of those feaked out by snakes, and if she aint happy then.......well, you know.

Since this little fella was found at the Albero ranch, it proves there's "no snake in the grass" living there! Nice photo! He's just like you, Joe: a little scary at first, but rather cute and likely harmless if you don't bother him!
