To my knowledge he has done nothing other than make the anouncement that he will remove some 30,000 troups by next year.
This is merely another political move bfore the election.

Based on the fact that he has not kept a single promise from his campaign, gone back on everything he said, and tip toed around the whole topic: I give him an F. Whether I agreed with the statements he made or not, his empty promises speak volumes.

11:32, he said he would step up our covert efforts including going into pakistan(done), step up our troop presence (done), and eventually bring our boys home (in progress). Not sure where the "no promises kept' came from.
Osama was captured on his watch. And now our soldiers and marines can begin coming home and let the afghans figure out what they want to do. I say he's done atleast as good as anyone else would have done, and better than what is 08 opponent would have done (an open ended conflict).
The U.S. will never totally win a war again. We don't have the stomach to do what it takes to win a war. Look at history when wars have been won and they are brutal to the combatants and civilians. Sherman marched to sea destroying everything in his path. WW II saw us fire bomb whole cities in order to defeat Gemany and Japan. You have to totally destroy an enemy and their means of fighting a war in order to defeat them. We haven't done that in Afghanistan. We are too worried about offending this group or that, and winning the hearts of the people. Well it isn't going to happen. As soon as we leave, the Taliban are going to move back in and take over. Thus all we have fought and died for will have been for nothing. So, I don't approve of Bush's or Obama's handling of the war. If we go to war, we should go to war, not tip toe around the tulips.
Deaths of Americans are up 500% since he took over so I suppose that's something he can claim being ahead of the pack on.
ah 11:53, that would actually require us to think long and hard prior to going in. Something that our politicians can't seem to find the time to do since #1 we have a citizenry that believes any piece of garbage spouted on the radio or tv and #2 the profiteers of war (halliburton et al.) are really the puppeteers.
He just doesn't want it to slide into a terrorist haven on his watch. Election is coming up. A republican would do the same.

I saw a Youtube of Obama campaigning in 2007 seven promising if he were elected we'd be out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

I thought Carter was the worst president in my lifetime but Carter was so much better than this clown! Now, as a joke, he's off the scale! He's the biggest embarrassment to America, ever!
