The 2011 Roll Call is out! Released for the last 25 years by the group Maryland Business for Responsive Government (MBRG), the Roll Call scores each member of the Maryland General Assembly on bills that are important to Maryland businesses.
So … How do our Senators and Delegates from the Eastern Shore rank?

So, who stands up for business on the Shore? It doesn’t look like Rudy Cane, Norm Conway, and Jim Mathias are too worried about job creation in Maryland … unless it’s GOVERNMENT JOBS.
CORRECTION - This post originally showed Del. Norm Conway with a 2011 score of 100 and Del. Mike McDermott with a 2011 score of 20. The numbers were reversed. We apologize to Del. McDermott for the mistake.

I've never seen a politician or government worker who knows how to "multi-task".
They take one issue and ride with it till the media says enough.
Jobs is the issue for them , forget about everything else while Rome burns.
This is typical socialist attitude.
Good Post!!
GA - are we looking at the same chart? Looks to me like Mathias, Cane, and McDermott are the ones that didn't score well.
Norm Conway scored 100%, for goodness sake!
As evidenced by the comment from 8:47, these numbers mean nothing without the background upon which they are based. More info, please, for those of us who actually read and examine "news" for veracity.
The only job Mathias was ever concerned about was his own.
I've been reading Roll Call for over fifteen years and very few of the democrats ever score high. And, we wonder why we lose so many jobs in Maryland to other states. DUH! I hope all of the unemployed democrats start reading Roll Call too.
Definitely can tell who votes Democratic Party policies and not Tax Payer concerns. But what is new they have always done this and always get reelected.
"""MIKE McDERMOTT""" Does not surprise me one bit at all as he is just a face with a hole with sounds and needs to go back to being a so-called law enforcement Officer...OH that's right he was really no good there and ran for office to try his hands at that and so far failed there too...GO HOME MIKE..
7:29, sounds like you may be young and uninformed. if you have a job count your blessings. are you in the public or private sector. why does that matter? because we as taxpayers pay you if you're in the public sector.
thank you mike mcdermott for watching out for us. and thank you for making pocomoke a "jewel" on the eastern shore by making pocomoke a great place to start a business. many new businesses were created under your watch. more businesses/more jobs/better economy for all......
