Clearly our announcement about the new changes to Salisbury News has brought on an incredible amount of hits today.
Comments on that Post are also unusually higher than normal and if you think about it, the Anti Albero Bloggers sent in quite a few comments we'd never even consider publishing, so there were a lot more than you see published.
Change is sometimes hard to accept and that's why GA and I started making most of the changes weeks in advance so people wouldn't come back here and act upset.
All I can tell you about what we'll be providing in the future is, you'll enjoy SBYNews.com more so than ever before. Just be patient and watch what we deliver. You wanted more local content, we're going to deliver it. Thanks for your support.

Hmmm......as great as it may sound and as much as I respect the fact.....the conservatives that follow this blog do so blindly and are obsessed with faith issues and sound bites and I think Mr.Harrison's Newtish intelectualismo is going to be wasted here....though I trust that he is an informed and fair arbitrator I suspect that his through devotion is wasted here
I do hope I am proved wrong and he can command here a forum beyond misinformed opinions and shallow issue oriented sound bites and petty butt hurt misgivings and demystify what is conservative and what is liberal and lay down a dialogue that serves as a departure and unifying factor that we can get on with the work at hand despite our assigned and assumed differences
we all want and desire the same things.................the political divisions have only created a huge stalemate....and we are suffering the consequences thusly opposed.....they seek to divide us and we elect them to make concessions .....Maybe its is time we all did and give up petty ideas and find where it is we stand and are willing to work together to better this union...................democracy is still an unproven and very young social experiment.....and we are the standard barriers and exporters of said experiment......we need to bump it up a notch and be active and conscience participants beyond our feeble means

I think you may misunderstand me, and some of our readers. While I do try to be informed, I am a bad choice for an arbitrator.
My opinions are as strong as anyone's. Perhaps I differ with some because I believe that everyone has a right to express their opinion, within certain bounds. This applies to those that you believe are "obsessed with faith issues" and those that are secular and agnostic on a good day.
I do agree that dialogue should be encouraged. However, I do not believe that all opinions are created equal.
I find it odd that you seem to call for civil dialogue on one hand and then label Joe as "terminally stupid". That's not very civil; is it?
Regardless, I will attempt to do a good job for you and our other readers.

1055 Is a new person on this blog and very opinionated with a liberal twist (very twisted) to his thinking. He/she is entitled to his/her opinion but it only serves as "negative and inflammatory" on this blog because most of the people do share a conservative opinion. I would suggest him/her to a more liberal blog where he/she will be more satisfied with people he/she has more in common with. For the last week or so, he/she has been very condescending and on attack mode in all of his comments towards many of the readers/contributors and Joe on this blog. That may be his/her purpose. If this continues, I'd just block him/her altogether. It isn't that I don't care if someone disagrees with my view or any others but all of his/her comments are in partial or directly related to attacking someone else's comments and THAT IS NOT CIVIL AT ALL! Thanks GA.
No one should be here to attack. You don't have to agree, but you should attempt to understand someone else's opinion. Otherwise you are shortsited and too uninformed to put forth an intelligent opinion of your own.
