That’s right! These three champions of the taxpayer voted against raising the debt ceiling in yesterday’s vote. It was little surprise that Rep. Andy Harris and Rep. Roscoe Bartlett voted this way. They are true believers and wouldn’t vote for the measure without spending reductions. Cummings, Hoyer, and Van Hollen never saw a spending bill they didn’t like.
Democrats are accusing Republicans of playing politics. The problem is, they demanded an up or down vote on the debt ceiling with no attachments like spending reductions. House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) gave them exactly what they requested. Now the Dems are complaining about that too.
Who is playing politics now?
