NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The number of planned job cuts announced in November surged to its highest level in eight months, as companies made year-end adjustments to staff levels, according to a report Wednesday.
Employers announced plans to reduce payrolls by 48,711 jobs last month, according to Challenger, Gray & Christmas, a Chicago-based outplacement firm. The figure was up 28% from October, but down 3.3% compared with November 2009.

And the Republicans want to cut jobless benefits because they think their are plenty of jobs.
So do people on the shore. I would venture to say those that do think that HAVE a job.
