How I Saved $145 At Sears By Checking In-Store Computer Kiosk

Leigh made the most of her idle time while waiting in line to buy a dishwasher at Sears. On a lark, she pulled up the product she was going to buy at a nearby kiosk and found it was listed $145 cheaper online than she was about to pay. She confronted the salesman, who was stunned by the price difference but gave her the lower price.

We bought a new fridge from them a few months ago. We were debating between 2, went with the one that was $150.00 more, with on door ice/water. Got home looked on line and the other fridge was $300.00 less on line! Had we known, there would have been no debating.

Another thing, at Sears, they don't have the skew #'s on the appliances. Our guess was so you couldn't use your cell phone to compare prices with other stores (which we had planed on doing).
