Baltimore Orioles outfielder Luke Scott wasn’t only talking baseball at the winter meetings on Tuesday. He questioned President Barack Obama’s birthplace and claimed he did not represent the United States.
“Obama does not represent America. Nor does he represent anything what our forefathers stood for,” Scott said in an interview with David Brown of Yahoo’s Big League Stew.
The 32-year-old went on to say Obama has no legal documentation.
“He was not born here. That’s my belief. I was born here,” Scott said. ”If someone accuses me of not being born here, I can go — within 10 minutes — to my filing cabinet and I can pick up my real birth certificate and I can go, ‘See? Look! Here it is. Here it is.’ The man has dodged everything. He dodges questions, he doesn’t answer anything. And why? Because he’s hiding something.”
More on this

Luke Scott for President !!!!!
Luke Scott is my HERO!!
He's got balls to say what many are thinking, but afraid to say.
And Screw the Orioles organization for speaking out against Luke Scott!
Yeah, for Luke Scott. He is 100% correct. If you are born here you can go to your nearest filing cabinet or health department and get your birth certificate. Why can't Obama do that?
Meanwhile the O's still suck! Focus on your job buddy.
My new favorite player,Luke Scott,a man not afraid to say what he believes!!!
It is just better to hear a gifted athlete say this than to hear your next door neighbor say it even though your neighbor has done countless hours of research and reading in order to form his / her opinion.
In America we respect the thoughts of a gifted athlete more than our neighbor's.
Especially when he's absolutely right, 11:20.
I agree completely that he is right. I am just pointing out that there are lots of regular people living right next to each of us who have learned the truth and are waking up. Listen to your neighbors. Do the research.
Thank you
I guess since I do not have my origial birth certificate that I am not a "real" American either.
Guess I should tell the IRS to leave me alone, then.

If you were born here you are a "real" American for what that is worth. We are a pathetic bunch these days (I'm one too). I am quite ashamed of the criminals who run our government and embarassed for the crimes committed by our government. But hey, what can I do (you do?)
On the other hand, if you want to become the U.S. President you might want to get a copy of the original birth certificate so you can prove you are eligible. In addition, perhaps you should not accept free money to go to college as a "foreign student" as some people may not realize you were merely trying to steal money - and might mistake you for being a foreign person (not eligible for the office of U.S. President).
On the other hand, perhaps we should go ahead and change the Constitutional requirement for the position. International business leaders run our government anyway. And moreover, most of the APPOINTED cabinet members have dual citizenship with Israel.
Yes, crazies on the right, keep screaming about a B.C. while the logical thinking conservatives and lefties come up with the best solutions. We all know screaming garbage is what the idealogues do best.
Oh my God this argument is sooooo old. So old. He has presented his document to the U.S. government. No other president has displayed their birth certificate nationally. You have to submit it when you run and he did. So what exactly are you asking him to do? And Luke Scott is a complete idiot. His early signs of gum cancer must have already reached the brain. Finally, both his minor and major league teams sucked. Maybe if he threw the ball like he runs his mouth we'd have something to work with.
