Worcester County Liquor Control Board Problems - Where It All Began!!

http://mlis.state.md.us/2005rs/billfile/hb0091.htm - Enabling legislation whereby Worcester County Liquor Control Board increased the Borrowing Authority from $3,000,000 to $5,000,000 dollars.  With increased borrowing authority - Worcester County Liquor Control Board bought the largest liquor warehouse available in the Town of Snow Hill.
 
http://mlis.state.md.us/2005rs/fnotes/bil_0006/hb0356.pdf - Authorizing Worcester County Liquor Control Board to buy alcohol for resale from any entity- (wineries) - and then reselling to retail beverage licensees. (*NOTE - this legislation would have blindsided the local retailers had I note notified them at the 11th hour).  As it turned out - the Delegates voluntarily withdrew the bill after hearing resistance from the retailers association.
