Coming: Gov't By Regulation Instead Of Law

Republicans are assuming that cap-and-trade (aka cap-and-tax) is dead because Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid lacks the votes to bring up the House-passed bill and because this issue proved a loser in the 2010 House races. Like the famous Mark Twain saying, its death may be exaggerated.

The Senate's environmentalism expert, Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., warns us that the Obama administration is trying to implement cap-and-trade anyway by bureaucratic regulations. Directives issued by the Environmental Protection Agency are coming down the pike to increase energy costs and kill jobs.

Last May, the EPA issued what it called a tailoring rule to govern new power plants, oil refineries and factories that yearly emit 100,000 tons or more of carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons or sulfur hexafluoride. Inhofe reports that this tailoring rule will further reduce our manufacturing base and especially hurt the poor and elderly.

Inhofe predicts that the EPA standards planned for commercial and industrial boilers will cost 798,000 jobs. He also warns about the harmful effects on jobs caused by new rules on ozone emissions.

Since Barack Obama moved into the White House, the EPA has proposed or finalized 29 major regulations and 172 major policy rules. The EPA is, for the first time, simultaneously toughening the regulations on all six major traditional pollutants such as ozone and sulfur dioxide.

Before Climate-gate exposed the politics behind the "science" of global warming, a 5-to-4 Supreme Court ordered the EPA to consider regulating emissions based on that unsubstantiated and now largely discredited theory.

Despite a long record of supporting Obama stimulus and spending legislation, the expected chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich., says, "We are not going to allow this administration to regulate what they have been unable to legislate."

Opposition to EPA's new rules is remarkably bipartisan. Seventeen Democrats signed a letter to EPA Director Lisa Jackson opposing them.

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., was elected after running a TV ad showing himself firing a rifle to put a bullet through a copy of the cap-and-trade bill, and he promised to fight EPA attempts to curb greenhouse gas emissions from coal-fired power plants. He may have a difficult task because Jackson is plotting to force mass retirements of the coal plants that provide half of U.S. electricity.

No,
It's called, "Not During Your Job." There is nothing coming out of the republican representative party concerning an extension of middle class taxes. No answer to the dadt/drean act-Thank goodness. No answer to the problem with 9.6% joblessness. They ended the extension to unemployment entitlements to 1.2 million people effective 12/31/2010. They want to increase the retirement age. The want privatize social security and medicare. All they do is talk, argue, talk and argue. This is a Lame Duck session going no where. And, while they talk, argue, talk and argue: American people are suffering. There job and paycheck shold be affected just like the average working American.

No, it is a Dictatorship.

Our government is in the habit of dictating orders or laws to we the people.

Statutory Law was not established by our U.S. Constitution. As a matter of fact, we rebelled against Statutory Law.

Statutes were directives (orders) from Kings to the people - the servants of the Kingdom. If the King said, you cannot eat this, or cannot drink that, or cannot do this - then the servants did not do it. If they disobeyed the directive (statute) they knew the military would punish them.

So it is in America. Wear your seatbelt. Drive 55 miles per hour. Do not consume this or that product. Do this, don't do that.

We live under a dictatorial statutory criminal government. We are slaves.

I know, I know. I don't like it so I should move to China or Russia or Iran. And then what? Become a victim of the U.S. Military arm? No thanks. I was born in this country. It is my home. I will not leave it. I say the traitors should leave or face the wrath of an angry citizenry. One day maybe. One day.

Go to C-Span2 on you cable TV is see for youself what the elected Repiblicans are really doing. They are doing absolutely nothing except:
Hold the middle class tax breaks, national security and the soon to be government shutdown on this Friday HOSTAGE. If the Demorcrats don't honor the Bush's Tax Break giving the millionaires and billioniares a tax break by Monday, they will go home for the holidays and will not return until the first of the year. By then everyones taxes will increase. The 9.6% unemployment rate will continue. The unemployment checks will not exist. And, joblessness will be at it's highest peak. Maybe then, Americans will see they made a big mistake.

A democrate proposed a bill that said, if big businesses want to seen their company overseas, then produce products that are brought back into America for sale to Americans, don't expect a tax break. But, this same bill states if big businesses who keep their companies here in Amerca and produce products made in the U. S. of A. to be sold overseas, this bill will allow tax breaks. The republican from Tennesse opposed the bill.
Good bills have been offered to create jobs, reduce the national debt, improve national security and promote great workmanship among the collegues on each side of the Senat: all have been opposed by republicans.
They even turned down negotiations made by the other party to implement the tax bill created by the Clinton Administration that gave this country a surplus before the Bush Administration.
This is going to be a very cold winter for the citizens of the U. S. And, don't even think about Xmas. It will be terrible for alot of Americans.
The House of Senate/House of Representative republican reps don't car about the average American citizen. It is almost hard to believe. And, you all think it's President Obama fought. Well see for yourself on C-Span2. The media has lied to America. See and hear for yourself on c-Span2 and watch Congress get paid all that money to do absolutely nothing on a daily basis. I am shocked. They are whacked for spending so much of the tax payers money and their vote to do absolutely nothing. Thes people should not have been elected.
