There is a working building fire at Tin Man's Custom, the old Dave's Sporting Goods building on Nanticoke Road. There are three stations that have been alerted. More to come...

This is such a shame. I remember since a little boy going to Dave's. It was an Eastern Shore tradition and almost a rite of passage for many youth as they entered hunting and fishing with their dads. I can still see Dave behind the counter. Such a shame. I hope no one was hurt.
When the fire marshall went on scene before any equipment he reported that side A was fully involved. They also had another fire on Bivalve Wharf Road just before 3 am.
I haven't been by there yet or seen any pictures but Dave's was an awesome place.... unfortuantly I think that when gander mtn came to salisbury it put them out of business but they were an awesome store. I will always remember dave and sheila. great people. Havn't talked to them since they moved out west. I have been going there since i was old enough to walk
Hmmmm, Tin Man went out of business due to the economy? The building has been on the market for several months with no potential buyers & all of a sudden the building burns down? sounds a little suspicious to me. Could this be a way out of paying the mortgage????? You never know these days. Just seems weird.

The proper name was "Dave's Sport Shop" for those that patronized the establishment since childhood.
Dave and Sheila Watson would insulted to know the good name of the business was mis-represented.

Wasn't Tin Man's business closed?
It is closed and they are selling it...great people and they live in the house that's only a few feet away.
What a circus this fire was. Just more proof that Wicomico County needs standards in place for chief officers.
