although i am a republican, this is the first time ive ever voted a straight republican ticket. it wasnt one of those, "stick it to the dems" things. i generally believe that in each race the rep was better than the dem (not to say i LIKED every choice though).

I will be voting for certain Democrats and certain Republicans.
Voting both sides of the aisle.

Majority Republican, Pollitt only

Anonymous said...

Mostly Democratic. I was so tired of seeing the Harris/Kratovil ads that I voted for the third candidate.

Anonymous said...

Democrat, except for Matt Maciarello. My vote for Rep. was against Harris not really for Kratovil.

Anonymous said...

I have voted for my last Democrat thanks to Jim Ireton and his lying thieving ways.

Anonymous said...

mixed only two Democrats

Anonymous said...

Republican. Republican. Republican.

Anonymous said...

Straight Republican this year.

Anonymous said...

Pollitt, Mathias, and the rest Republicans.

Democrat

Anonymous said...

Straight ticket Republican!

Democrat. I'm a junior in college and I want my rates to stay low. Ehrlich is not willing to do that.

Anonymous said...

I plan on voting for the best possible candidate, in this case
mostly Republican. In my opinion,
our President has surrounded himself with some of the most questionable liberals in history.

Anonymous said...

Against all incumbents regardless of party affiliation.

Anonymous said...

Republican all the way! After many years, I finally changed my party affiliation this year to Republican.

Anonymous said...

I'm a democrat, but I won't be voting for very many this time. They're heading this country to ruin.

Anonymous said...

total republican

Anonymous said...

straight GOP except Pollitt and I didn't like to do that but it was the better choice of the 2.

Anonymous said...

Mathias and Malissa Bright, the rest republican

Anonymous said...

Those with tea party beliefs; mostly republican, except Governor, Constitutional Knowles. After all, Wicomico's vote doesn't count towards that race.

Anonymous said...

I am a democrat but voted mostly republican...

Anonymous said...

With a few exceptions, Republican.

Anonymous said...

Registered Dem says some Dems and some Reps.

Like Mathias, Pollitt and Kratovil. Harris is just too scary and James is a cold fish and too interested in OC only.

Like Matt M, Otto,Prettyman, Culver and Holloway - also Wargotz over big bad Barb!

Like Conway, but couldn't vote for him.

I consider myself an independent and have always voted for Dems and Gop. But this year totally Gop. I think Democrats believe that the elections are in November because it's the best time to choose a turkey.

Anonymous said...

Certified DINO here, straight anti-Democrat.

Anonymous said...

Democratic except for Matt Maciarello.

Anonymous said...

If you vote democrat you're giving the chosen one permission to rip up our constitution, turn our country over to illegals, allow muslims to have their way with our way of life, making it bad to call terrorists the bad guys, continue our downward economic spiral, make welfare the new standard, allow the justice department to choose who they prosecute based on them being white or not, etc. C'mon people, is that the future you want for our country and our children?? Vote Republican and let's take our country back to the strong, prideful nation it's always been!! YES WE CAN!!

Anonymous said...

democratic except for DA(Matt)

Anonymous said...

Matt Holloway all the WAY!!!!

Anonymous said...

I am certainly not voting for the candidtates that pestered me with phone calls at all hours and stuffed my mailbox full of flyers day after day. By the way, ONE flyer will do, I read it the first time I received it. You should have kept your other 10-12.

Demand Maciarello!!!

Anonymous said...

wow 12:39, you need to calm down!

Voted already: mostly Dems, but voted for Maciarello, could not vote for Mathias.

Anonymous said...

I'm in 38B and will vote R's in the state election and a handful of D's in the county races.

Anonymous said...

12:39 - More Republican scare tactics I see?
This is the exact reason I will NEVER be a registered Republican.
I'm so sick of things like your post coming out of the Republican party!
I don't have amnesia!!!

Anonymous said...

No matter who you vote for, JUST VOTE!! My father always said that it was my civic duty to vote. He also said that even if your candidate doesn't win, at least he or she knows that there are people out there that don't support them. It sends them the message. Anyway, I'm voting mostly Republican with a few exceptions.

Anonymous said...

i only vote for black candidates. i dont care what party they belong to, or what their policies are. as long as they're black

Anonymous said...

Way too much caffine 12:39...put down the java. Democratic ticket all the way.

Anonymous said...

I'm voting for the Constitution which means straight ticket Republican!

Anonymous said...

I'm voting to stop the government take over which means I have to vote Republican!

Anonymous said...

I usually don't vote but I need a job so I'm voting Republican...

Anonymous said...

Republican all the way.

Anonymous said...

I am ignoring the bipartisan system and voting for the person I believe will do the job to the best of their ability and will accurately represent my views. The bipartisan system is why our county is in this mess; time for some common sense in office!

Anonymous said...

With exception of one independent I'm voting Republican. Just cannot vote for Jones or Webster in Som sheriff race.

Anonymous said...

Anyone see the standing ovation Bush got last night? voting Republican!

Anonymous said...

I will be voting republican all the way

Anonymous said...

I am a Democrat and I will never vote for another Democrat again. Can someone please tell me when I can change my party affiliation. I would sign my name but I am to ashamed.

Signed
Another Democrat for Ehrlich!

Anonymous said...

REPUBLICAN. I am a freshman in college and I am tired of this ridiculous tax and spend that is happening by the DEMOCRATS. Erlich, Harris, Wargotz, and Maciarello!

Anonymous said...

Joe,
It's 5:30 pm and out of curiosity, I scanned to see the responses so far. They tend heavily to the GOP. Now the question for you, which will be answered by tomorrow night, are the responses to your question on this blog representative of the local area, the nation?
I do hope so.

J.Albero said...

While I believe our endorsements could be a close call as to the end results tomorrow night, almost ALL of the candidates are outstanding candidates and we wish them all the very best.

Republican or Democrat, we're fortunate to have them running. Mind you, Mike Calpino, Seth Mitchell, Joel Todd are the exception to my own personal rule as I truly hope the voters see right through their crap.

Tomorrow night will be a big night but let me assure you, I will be attending only ONE victory party tomorrow night. Can you guess who it will be?????

Anonymous said...

Mixed-----I vote for the Man, not the party-----It is never a wise choice , to me , to vote a straight ticket one way or the other.

Anonymous said...

If you are going to Matt's I will see you there!!

Jeff said...

I voted straight republican except for Rich Colburn. He has been in office way too long. Needs to go!

Anonymous said...

im with 12:39 a vote for the dems is basically like flushing it all down a big toilet ...... im voting all republican and for pollitt

Anonymous said...

Amen to 12:39!! I couldn't agree more! Voting Republican all the way! Yes we can!!

Anonymous said...

11:21 AM - First, if the Dems. stay in power, you won't have to worry about taxes because you won't be able to find a JOB when you graduate. Second, Republicans won't increase your taxes, if you have a job now, you should notice that you don't have much in Fed. taxes taken out because of the BUSH tax cut Congress tried to repeal this past session and would have if it were not for the REPUBLICANS and their fillibuster. Get off of CNN and watch Fox News once in a while.

And as an answer to the survey, I voted mostly Republican (all for the higher offices and mixed for lower/local offices).
