Doctors on Pharma Payroll Have Blemished Records, Limited Credentials

Drug companies say they hire the most-respected doctors in their fields for the critical task of teaching about the benefits and risks of their drugs. But an investigation by ProPublica uncovered hundreds of doctors on company payrolls who had been accused of professional misconduct, were disciplined by state boards or lacked credentials as researchers or specialists. Their misconduct included inappropriately prescribing drugs, providing poor care or having sex with patients. Some of the doctors had even lost their licenses.

doesnt anyone realize we are being treated like guinea pigs? big drug companies send sales reps into doctors offices with bribes and kickbacks if they prescribe their fancy new concoction. its getting bad.

Same with doctors that work for insurance companies approving proceedures.

Also keep in mind it's not the scientists who blew up fears of H1N1. They are not the ones advocating for global flu vaccinations for the population or the incorporation of antibiotics to every skin product from lotion to sanitizer. These companies are pushing this crap. But their efforts would be in vein if people would simply wake up and go find some facts on your own for once.
