Football Jerseys Stolen From School

Location: Red Lion Christian Academy, 1390 Red Lion Road, Bear, DE

Date of Occurrence: Saturday, September 18, 2010 between 9:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.

Suspect: Unknown suspects

Resume: Delaware State Police are investigating the theft of football jerseys belonging to the Red Lion Christian football team.

The incident occurred yesterday between 9:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. after an employee of the school had parked his vehicle in the parking lot of the school. When the victim returned to his vehicle he discovered that someone had removed a large black Adidas bag from the rear seat. The bag contained 36 jerseys that the Red Lion Christian Academy football team uses for their away football games. The jerseys are white with black numbers and are valued at approximately $3,100.00.

State Police are asking anyone who may have any information concerning this theft to contact Troop 2 at 302-834-2620. They may also contact Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
