So...what are the chances they get through all this stuff before the Council President adjourns prematurely?

How many times will Louweasal slam that gavel on the table and state - this is my domain and I'm in charge here so you better shut up or I'll close this meeting.

This council is totally disfunctional and a recall should be initiated. Gary should resign because he in no way is serving the people who elected him. The rest of them ALL need to grow up and should be embarrassed to cash their paychecks. Total gridlock is now in force at the Salisbury City Council.

I'll ditto that!

Dinosaur - I agree with some of your points, but I challenge "ALL." I have listened to some of the available audio files, watch PAC14, and have been on line to read some of the minutes. It is clear that Cohen and Campbell vote with the others when they see the atcion to be in the best interest of the city. They vote against things that they see not to be in the best interest of the city, and contrary to what spin would have us believe, don't always vote alike. They are always informed on the matters being discussed. On the other hand, I can even recall Smith and Shields voting for a tax increase while admitting that they hadn't even read the budget. I think that Salisbury would be hard pressed to find two more diligent members than Cohen and Campbell. I don't always agree, but I respect their willingness to listen and they have guts enough to do their jobs as representatives instead of just being rubber stamps. Remember the votes that are 2 to 2 would only require Shields or Smith crossing their little imaginary line to vote with Cohen and Campbell on something important and the tie would be broken.

Hey, Joe, I think 9:51's comment is "a comment worthy of a post." Well, said.
