A Letter To The Editor

"Obama O.K.s masque being built overlooking "ground zero." Sure it's legal, but it represents a level of insensitivity to a degree never seen before here in America. Barack Hussein Obama, should we all start flying confederate flags now? Would you O.K. This?"

To me it is like us placing a flag on the moon. We captured it, it is ours. They are claiming victory with bombing the towers. Next they will be raising the muslim flag and we are letting them do it. Our government is sending our country down the river. All our jobs are being done by china. Our computer technology is being done by India.
What do we have left here? Not much. It is scarey!

At the tomb of the unknown soldier, you don't maintain silence because freedom of speech doesn't apply there. You do it out of respect. The WH is showing lack of respect with their position, not support for freedom of religion.

This makes as much sense as buying helicopters from Russia in order to preserve American jobs.

The author of that comment makes it sound like a bad thing to fly the Confederate flag. Well guess what it is not and I am not offended by the Confederate Battle Flag. I have ancestors that fought for that flag and guess again?? They never owned slaves so if you think the Civil War was about slavery you are sadly mistaken. The same liberal sociopaths that led you to believe the Confederatate States of America, the confederate soldiers and the Confederate flag is bad are the same ones forcing the Muslim culture on us. This isn't something that just started, it has been in the making for over 50 years.

Wake up America before it is to late.

Why don't one of you haters just get a pilot's license. Then you'll know where to try to land.

WAIT until it is built. Someone will fly a plane into it..OR just blow it up

We have a constitution and should abide by it.
Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.

Let's build a gay bar on one side of it and a pork BBQ on the other side and find out just how tolerate these people are.

This would be a great construction site to set up a street vendor cart selling pork BBQ and sausage sandwiches. Maybe even staff it with a cross dressing TV.

10:19 AM

It is an interesting comment and there is a lot of truth to it. To bad true Americans are to naive to see the real picture.

10:41....now THATS what I would call an "interesting" observation...Is that a quote? Or the ramblings of a misguided imbecile? I'd prefer the company of "scoundrels" like Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, the entire 82nd Airborne division,...the list of such scoundrels is almost endless....The list ends where the other one begins---you know, the list of pious and self righteous people who think everything and everyone as "okay" and "acceptable", no matter the behavior, morality, political philosophy, integrity, etc., with no right or wrong to be seen, just people who only need our love and understanding. And THAT, my misguided friend, is how our country has arrived at the point and place we so sadly find ourselves in --- broke, in debt beyond (WAY beyond) our ability to EVER pay it back-- EVER, a caricature of our former greatness, and derided around the world as a nation of fat, self-centered bozo's who can't read or write...but as long as we "feel good" about each other, well hey...it's all good. Give me another serving of Patriotism, please. You can stand in the second line....

You conservatives crack me up. The law and the freedoms of the constitution are ok, until somebody does something that you don't like.

Yes, the truth is, someone will destroy this building if it ever goes up. I do not condone that, and neither do most Americans, but they will not stand idly by while their attackers laugh about killing thousands for Allah. We will not tolerate it on our soil near the very sight of the abomination.

4:39 Why do you hate America so much ?

You are free to fly a confederate flag on private property. Take a drive through Parsonsburg...But I still have a right to think your an A-Hole for doing it.
