Naylor Mill Road Regional Lift Station Project To Begin


Mayor Ireton and the City of Salisbury Public Works announces that on June 28, 2010 City of Salisbury Contractor, American Paving, will begin work on the gravity sewer main, force main and water main associated with the Naylor Mill Road Regional Lift Station.   The work is being performed under City of Salisbury contract no. ARRA 22-08 and is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.  There are a total of 11 phases of the project that will take place in Naylor Mill Road right-of-way.

Phase 1 and 2 that will take place along Naylor Mill Road at Northwood Drive, will start on June 28, 2010 and will last approximately 30 days. Traffic on Naylor Mill Road will be restricted to 1 lane at Northwood Drive with flagger operations in effect; drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid delays. Northwood Drive will be closed at Naylor Mill Road with detour paths indicated appropriately.
