Montgomery Co. Student Diagnosed With TB

Kennedy High School has confirmed that one of the Montgomery County school's students has been diagnosed with tuberculosis.

The student tested positive last month and has not returned to class since learning they were sick.

Students who came in close contact with the infected student will be tested for TB in about two weeks.

It's going to take them TWO WEEKS to test these kids? OMG!

That's total B.S. I work at Deer's Head Hospital and it is a simple test which only involves a needleprick on your arm and you get it read 48-72 hours later. If you test positive they send you for a chest x-ray. What's the hold up??? That is outrageous!!
