GOP Comes To Ocean City

A good time had by all. While the GOP came to Ocean City, training sessions were what was in order for the weekend. However, after the first round of meetings on Friday to prepare for what was ahead over the next two days, they kicked things off with several hospitality suites, food, drinks and yes, Smith Island Cake.

Joe Collins and I spend quite a bit of time with New Mexico's Governor and Presidential hopeful Gary Johnson. We talked quite a bit about the new Arizona Immigration Law and got an interesting lesson on Presidential Amnesty.

Eric Wargotz, Andy Harris, Michael James were just a few of the names in attendance as republican candidates from all over Maryland were there to enjoy some great fellowship. Bob Erlich was present on Saturday as a key note speaker.

Arguing with a future presidential candidate who I agree with on many other issues was difficult. At the end of the discussion we agreed to disagree on immigration.

Man, I have to go on a diet...
