Farmers Market Kicks Off With Most Vendors Selling Out Before Noon

A Market Vendor said...

Joe,

Thank you for giving the market a plug it was most helpful. The first day is usually slow because not many people realize we have opened. Your help publicizing the Farmers Market has been fruitful and appreciated by all the vendors. This year on opening day some of the vendors sold out early and left. Asparagus were gone by 9am strawberries by 11. The fresh baked breads were nearly sold out by noon. Thank you to all for supporting local farmers, bakers and water men. We hope to continue to see you throughout the year.

Sorry about the crab comments yesterday, passing judgement without ever trying the product isnt only unfair its stupid. I was wrong and will try some of those crabs next time, then I will voice my opinion.

Many of my friends have commented very recently that we all believe we should by as much as possible from LOCAL roadside vendors.

There is a groundswell against BIG corporations like Walmart, Sams Club, and the Grocery chains.

Yeah Walmart just lost a nine year massive discrimination lawsuit. Pigs. Support your local farmer.
