Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On March 3, 2010 at approximately 7:30 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Dollar General Store on Civic Avenue for the report of two (2) shoplifters. Upon arrival the officers met with store management who advised that store employees had observed the below listed two (2) suspects take items from the store without making any attempts at payment. The property was recovered and returned to the store.

ARRESTED #1: Juvenile, 15 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland
ARRESTED #2: Juvenile, 16 years of age

CHARGES (Both): Theft (under $ 100)
DISPOSITION: Both suspects released to parents

On March 3, 2010 at approximately 10:32 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of the Thrift Travel Inn and made contact with below listed suspect # 1. While meeting with suspect # 1, the officers observed below listed suspect # 2 in her room. The officers knew from previous contact that suspect # 2 is prohibited from Thrift Travel Inn property. Suspect # 2 was taken into custody for trespassing, and while in the suspect’s room the officers observed three (3) smoking devices containing suspected "crack"/cocaine.

ARRESTED #1: Lillian May Page, 43 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Possession of cocaine
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia (2 counts)

ARRESTED #2: Randolph Joynes, 49 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Trespassing
Possession of cocaine
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia
DISPOSITION: Both suspects released to Central Booking

On March 3, 2010 at approximately 10:40 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of Philadelphia Avenue and North Salisbury Boulevard and stopped a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect for traffic violations. During the traffic stop the suspect gave the officers consent to check the vehicle for contraband. A check of the front seat area revealed a loaded small caliber handgun. The suspect did not have a permit for the handgun.

ARRESTED: Larry Eugene White, 67 years of age
Stoneville, North Carolina
CHARGES: Wearing, carrying a handgun in a vehicle
Wearing, carrying a handgun on ones person
Wearing, carrying a dangerous weapon
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

Joynes still up to no good.VIP at WCDC. The 67 year old man prob felt unsafe going into Salisbury with all the crime.
