Yet when the Government puts out bids to the private sector, they require a "Buy American" clause. It's "Do as I say, not as I do".
Could you be any more misleading with the headline? Sorry to all the whiners, but you champions of the free market need to realize that free market economics have pushed manufacturing jobs for nearly everything out of the US. Therefore if you want to build anything of value, you're going to need to ship materials/parts in.
